Our purpose

Good human resource practices in the nonprofit sector are both important and achievable. The Alberta Nonprofit Workforce Council recognizes and highlights the excellent work underway in the sector in order to develop a high performance, sustainable workforce. The Council coordinates a province-wide, cross-sectoral implementation of A Workforce Strategy for Alberta’s Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector.

Who we are

WorkforceConnect is a collaborative platform to address nonprofit sector workforce issues by engaging a broad range of stakeholders.

WorkforceConnect is an initiative of the Alberta Nonprofit Workforce Council, a diverse group of individuals and nonprofit organizations that understand sector workforce issues and are committed to working collaboratively to find long term solutions.
